Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) Needle Valves，NV6 Series

NV6 Series Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) Needle Valves feature cold-drawn square bar bodies, with a maximum working pressure of 6000 psig. With a two-piece stem design, the valve plug only moves vertically during opening and closing, reducing packing wear from each operating stroke. The stem threads are positioned above the packing to prevent thread lubricant from contacting system media. A wide selection of packing materials, port types and sizes is available.

Cold drawn bar as body

Roll-formed stem threads and hardened sealing surface of valve plug for extended service life

Stem threads above packing prevent lubricant contact with process media

Bolted packing gland adjustment is unrestricted by stem threads, and can be performed at any open or closed position

Bottom mounting available

Two-piece stem design. The valve plug only moves vertically during operation, reducing packing wear over each stroke

Every valve leak tested with nitrogen or compressed air at maximum allowable working pressure

A variety of packing materials are available to meet different operating temperature ranges：PTFE packing：-65℉ to 450℉ (-54℃ to 232℃)、PEEK packing: -65℉ to 500℉ (-54℃ to 260℃)、Graphite packing: -65℉ to 1200℉ (-54℃ to 649℃)
